I. [Basics]
1. For every stage, you can choose between Hero and Monster. Hero stages only allow Monsters and Outlaws for the combat, Monster stages only allow Heroes and Martial Artists. Clear both to enter the next stage.
2. Every time after clearing the stage, the system will grant 1x Epic Voucher, few EXP drinks and several Coins. When you reach certain stage in Hero X Monster, you can claim target prizes, which include Star Ascension Card, Voucher, Gear, EXP drinks, Omni Shards, etc.
3. Every day, the assist system will randomly assign 2 Heroes and 2 Monsters for you to use. Each assisting character can be used only once per day. This won't count if you fail.
4. In most stages, you only have one enemy. Therefore it's important to deploy single-target attackers, such as Amai Mask, Puri-puri Prisoner, Boros, Deep Sea King, Carnage Kabuto, etc.
5. Enemies in Hero X Monster are immune to control effects. So Child Emperor, Sky King, Lightning Max will not perform as well as in other situations.
II. [Details of certain hard stages]
[Geryuganshoop]
From the second cycle, the spaceship trio who appear at stage 25 can be hard to deal with. Geryuganshoop, Groribas are powerful row attackers while Melzargard can take lots of damage. The difficult part is that in the second round, Geryuganshoop and Melzargard's Ultime Skill will definitely defeat our front row. Groribas' Ultimate skill will inflict Corrode on our back row, which would lead to a total lose in the third round. Therefore, it's very important to get rid of Melzargard within 2 rounds, and make sure in the second round, Geryuganshoop and Groribas will only hurt our front row.
Recommended:
Front row: Superalloy Blackluster, Child Emperor, Golden Ball
Back row: Terrible Tornado, Amai Mask, Puri-puri Prisoner
Superalloy Blackluster will guarantee the survival of back row with full HP at the beginning of round 3. Child Emperor, Golden Ball and Terrible Tornado will maximize the damage. Puri-puri Prisoner and Amai Mask shall make sure you can defeat Melzargard within 2 rounds.
[Carnage Kabuto]
In the Hero stage, Carnage Kabuto has powerful Damage Reflection and single damage. To deal with this nightmare, you need to make sure your characters are well upgraded with enough HP and single attack. Here, as an enemy, Carnage Kabuto's Ultimate skill will not heal itself, so you don't have to finish it quickly. You shall pass with enough damage.
Recommended:
Front row: Superalloy Blackluster, Puri-puri Prisoner, Golden Ball
Back row: Amai Mask, Child Emperor, Hellish Blizzard
Child Emperor's Core Skill guarantees the damage in round 1. Puri-puri Prisoner and Amai Mask are the stable single attacker. Superalloy Blackluster's Unyielding makes sure he survives. Hellish Blizzard grants Shield for protection. Golden Ball, as a tool person, meets the requirement of Child Emperor's Core Skill.
[Hellish Blizzard]
Hellish Blizzard will not deal much damage as her older sister Terrible Tornado. Even her Ultimate skill cannot defeat all of our characters easily. However, she's the leader and manager of hero organization "Blizzard Bunch". Every round, she will summon 3 members to stop us. Unlike Amai Mask and Puri-puri Prisoner who can directly deal damage to back row, there are no such Monster characters. So you will need to defeat the front row first, then aim at Hellish Blizzard. Therefore, the powerful team attackers like Subterranean King and Vaccine Man are really important here.
Recommended:
Front row: Carnage Kabuto, Deep Sea King, Hammerhead
Back row: Subterranean King, Vaccine Man, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic
The core of this line-up is Deep Sea King. Set Subterranean King as SPD 1 and Vaccine Man as SPD 2. Their Ultimate skills will defeat the front row quickly or burn all enemies. Vaccine Man's Passive skill will deal damage to all enemies. After the front row gets defeated, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic's basic attack will shatter Hellish Blizzard. In front row you can deploy Carnage Kabuto, Deep Sea King and Hammerhead as tank to guarantee the survival of back row.
